An authentic German style lager brewed with pilsner, dark-roasted Munich and dark caramel malts. The result is a deep, golden-colored lager with smooth body. The best ingredients create the best lager. We use a bottom-fermenting yeast strain from the Weihenstephan yeast tank from Freising, Germany and aroma hops from the renowned Hallertau region in southern Germany.

Pours a rather typical clear golden amber with a white head. Aroma is malty with a good hint of fruit and even a touch of hops. Flavor is typically malty but has some fruity and malty touches, drawing it above average. Texture is fairly smooth and fizzy, making a nice tingle. Costco's offerings are definitely worth of at least a try!
