Formerly known as Kinn Bresjnev Sovjet Staut. Name changed to Nansen from Jan. 2023, probably due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The recipe is supposed to be the same.

May 2015: Kinn Bresjnev Sovjet Staut, 750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.0%. Hopped with Fuggles. Pitch black colour, moderate but lasting tan head. Strong dryish roasty aroma, notes of roast malts and coffee, some woodwork too. Medium dry flavour, just enough residual swetness to carry through the strong roasty notes of coffee and dark bitter chocolate. Fairly bitter finish, both from the hops and the roast malts.
