This is our first Double Dry Hopped IPA, and for that, we wanted to use a hop that would entertain and dazzle. Our friends at Charles Faram Brewing Supplies introduced us to their new hop - Harlequin, which offers a smooth bitterness with aromas of peach, passion fruit and pineapple. This is the first time that an Ottawa brewery has used this hop varietal and we are very excited to fully showcase the hop through dry hopping.

Clean amber colour with a big frothy, somewhat creamy, warm light-beige head that last quite a while, leaving some creamy lacing. Getting some diacetyl in the nose with the buttery caramel. Not super bad though, and after swirling the glass - some warming alcohol notes and mild hops kick in. Getting a little hazy now. The taste shows more the bitterness over the caramel malt base, and the dryness in the finish. These two linger very long, and help not getting that sweetness. Not the best in the aroma section, but a nice dry, bitter Double IPA that is Double Dry-hopped.
