Our Brewmaster, German Phil, started his brewing career in 2010 during a short stay in Namibia. One of the traditions there was to enjoy a 'Sun Downer', which is the local version of Happy Hour, but with a view of the beautiful African sunset. We brewed this IPA with two different hops grown in Africa as a way of honouring this tradition and the start of his brewing career.

Can that pours a slight unfiltered, amber colour with golden highlights. The head is huge, frothy, creamy, light-beige with great retention leaving some nice creamy lacing. Caramel malt base in the nose with some light hops. The taste shows more the hops with some bitter greens, and lots of dryness in the finish. Orange notes in the background, so a fairly bitter IPA that works.
