Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Pours translucent and slightly purplish mahogany with a thick, frothy, light tan head. Aroma features a strong note of blackberry, tart and sweet, with a subtle undertone of roast malt. The latter dominates the flavor, and brings a smoky touch, while blackberry is still a major player; hoppy bitterness and bourbon-soaked wood come through as well. Smooth mouthfeel presents good body and firm fizz. Blackberry drinking in the dead of night--

Pours out a deep dark brown color with a light tan head with lots of tiny bubbles. The aroma is of alcohol and slight blackberry. The mouthfeel is slightly fizzey. The taste a nice balance of a normal poster but with a non-sweet blackberry taste.
