The bottle itself is neat. The mead comes out a reddish-gold colour with no head. The aroma is all about the honey, but if oine tries harde nough, you can also detect hints of cherry and maple. The flavour is sweet, this is for dessert. The alcohol is definitely noticeable, but not a distraction

Really cool earthenware crock with a built in spout. The mead wasn’t quite as good, though. Amber, oaky aroma, dried apricot. Fairly sweet, but not as much as Apis Jadwiga.
