Being both an imperial chocolate, and a cherry stout, I had high hopes for this - but it just didn't measure up. Each attribute was lacking...thin in body for a stout bordering on imperial. The chocolate was WAY underdone, made worse when we had the decadent Siren Noir soon after. The cherry is done ok, lightly tart and sweet, but it's only atop a light roast in the flavor...woulda been better with a ton of chocolate to play off of. Stone set the bar for this style, and this falls way short of that brew.
