Karlovacko je najbolje pivo u Hrvatskoj. Pijem ga svaki dan. Neznam za bolje i preporucio bi ga svakome.

Finally my first (2009) Croatian beer!! Pours clear gold with decent 90 second white head. The aroma emits sweet sugar malts, grainy malts, some floral hops and a mild background of earthy hops. The taste coats my tongue with thin sugary malts, table sugar and a bit of corn flakes. Slowly grainy malts and floral hops break up the sickly sweet party. A bit of spicy hop twang picks up toward the finish along with a bit of earthy hops. It still gets too sweet for me as the ounces are consumed.

The beer pours a very translucent pale straw colour, really more of a gold tinged water colour with a generous bubbly white head which does not last. The aroma is grains, weak herbal hops, wet grass, and cardboard notes. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grains and hops and some sour off-notes. Very similar to most Eastern European pale lagers. -

I should not have rated this beer so high. Sweaty sock with a turd aroma. Flavour not much better. Wank appearance. Don't know weather i'm gunna finish this one.

Pours a huge foamy white head and has a golden appearance. Leaves some pretty sticky lacing. Aromas of grains and wheats. Also some light sweet malts. Flavours are mainly malty, with some sweet and bready malts as well as yeasty notes. Average carbonation. Light bodied mouthfeel.

Pours a golden amber in appearance with a giant, foamy white head on top that settles at about two centimeters tall and stays well. The aroma is of lager malts to kick things off along wish some mild, earthy hops and a very slight hint of grain. There is some bread and corn. The taste consists of earthy malts, lager hops with a hint of mild citrus and some bitterness along with it. There is a general sweetness and the usual mix of bread and corn but all of these work well and it is quite a refreshing taste from this one. The mouth feel is smooth & light bodied as you would expect from a pilsner, there is also good, strong carbonation without being too strong or off-putting. There is a nice fizz to the beer and it is very refreshing.

Pours a crystal clear golden amber with a nice 3 finger white head. Decent amount of carbonation coming from the bottom of the glass. Aroma is of dry malts and grains. Taste right off the bat is metallic and slightly malty. Little bit on the soapy side as well. Not a very good beer. Is Croatia still a country?

Clear little dark yellow with white foam head. Aroma is clearly malty. Taste is like a light pilsener, not bad, not outstanding. Aftertaste is gone quickly. (Dubrovnik 201305)

500 ml capped bottle. Poured a clear amber coloured Pale Lager with a one finger slight beige foamy head that had a very long retetnion and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is mild sweety malts, fruity, green apples and watery tones. The flavour is mild sweety malts, corn, mild juicy fruits, green apples. The mouthfeel is light crispy and thin, the texture is watery. This light medium bodied Pale Lager has a dry minimal hoppy bitter finish. In winter not a really convincing Pale Lager. Another assert by a warmy summer ? May be !

from late winter/early spring: fairly typical pale lager. Not the worst, not the best. Hay, cereal, and a light prickly palate. No diamond in the rough here...but I'm a sucker and it was "on sale".

A dull golden colored beer. A big frothy textured, white head rises above. Iy has good hang time. And settles into a nice lacing of film on the sides of the glass and ringlet atop the body. A nose of grassy hops is detected. The body is light to light medium with a smoothness on the palate. The flavors are a nice blending of bready malt and grassy hops. Simple and dignified.
