For being a strong lager I expected it to be my rich in taste than the pale lager also made by the same company. It wasn't and even had a more of bitterness. Which was the only thing I thought was different.

Okay, a couple of macro beers and hoagies for a relaxing Monday night. The first pours as a clear gold color. A small, fluffy textured white head rises briefly above. Settles fairly quickly leaving a thin ringlet, barely discernable. The nose is typical of the species.....genre. Metallic, adjunct grains. The tasting matches with corn and grassy hops dominating. The body is a high point, light-medium and appropriately carbonated.

The last of my Bahamas trip finally comes to light. This was generally an after dinner beer...The flavors were stronger, that is, there was clearly a sweetness mixed with a hoppy bitterness. It may be dehydration from drinking beer on the beach all day, but the alcohol levels in these generally knocked me out. This is the kind of beer I could drink with some frequency. Rich, fluffy foam, golden, bordering on copper color. The resort attendants called this "Extra" not "Gold."
