Second beer I had at Maduro, pre-party night. Damn! This beer is the solution to a palate that's jonesin' for hops! No doubt. Medium bodied brew, orangeish golden. Lots of carbonation. Great retention in the frothness. Super packed full of hops, grapefruit, pine and earth. Taste is gorgeous all around. Chewy, citrus, caramel, candy sugar and bread. Bring this one back to Madtown baby.

Bottle: Poured a deep orangey color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and good lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with huge hoppy floral notes. Taste is a great mix between some sweet caramel malt and some strong hoppy floral notes and a medium bitter dry finish. Full body with good carbonation and no apparent aroma. Not necessarily a style that I usually fall in love easily with but this is definitely a top example of the style while showing some creativity by using a less known variety of hops.
