Brewed at Brouwerij De Graal (Brakel, Belgium) Visual: Rosy dark copper color with a creamy head. Aroma: A mixed aroma of spicy sansho and roasted malt. Flavor: The sweetness of the malt flavor and the bitterness of the hop flavor are well balanced at an elevated level. It finishes with a fresh and spicy aftertaste. Body: Full bodied with a considerably strong alcoholic taste. The low level of natural carbonation is created in the bottle-fermentation process and provides a very smooth drinking experience.

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7
Pours slightly hazy mahogany with a thin buff head. Aroma has notes of toasty malt, caramel, cherry and spice. Bold flavor emphasizes spice, but not pepperiness, with caramel, malty and cherry tones. Mouthfeel is fairly firm, and fizz is a little above average. Japan and Belgium - what a match!
