Winterfest is a medium-bodied red lager with a sweet malty aroma and flavor balanced out by hints of spicy nible hop character. Here's hoping this brew keeps you warm this winter! Malts - Pale, Dark Crystal. Hops - Tettnang, Hallertau.

Had a pint of this during lunch today. I didn't pay close attention to it, but overall it was good. A little on the sweet side, dark brown in color and not much head.

Enjoyed this one before the meal arrived. Reminded me of the Oktoberfest style beers. Some spicy flavoring along with a nice amber color. The balance of malt and hops reminded me of several German lagers I've had, although the flavor was complex enough to suspect that they broke German purity laws. An enjoyable beer for the cooler months of the year.
