500 ml bottle, bought at Newcastle Intl Airport. ABV is 5.1%. Chestnut colour, big beige head. Aroma of lightly roasted and dry malts, a touch of caramel and spices, hints of cold coffee. The flavour is medium dry with hints of caramel and dark fruits, again lightly roasted malts with a roasty ("coffee") and hoppy bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable.

Quite a heavy offering. A little burnt for my taste. There are many tastes there, I'm sure, but the taste is so bitter that I can't distinguish any of them. The aftertaste is quite warming but I did not enjoy the beer too much while I was drinking it.

Clear brown with a creamy beige foam. Roasty aroma of chocolate, cocoa, coffee beans. Full flavour with strong roasted notes of coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa, hints of salt and raisins. Bitter aftertaste of coffee with a salty undertone.
