Pours a cloudy golden yellow with nice rocky white head. with some lacing. The aroma has a musty, almost barnyard like aroma. There's also some lemon zest with citrus, spicy peppery notes, and a fairly noticeable aroma like kick. The taste has a light malt character with citrus and lemon zest. I'm assuming a good portion is coming from hops while the saison yeast strain is doing the other work. Nice bitterness to it. The mouthfeel finishes nice and dry. Feels light and highly drinkable although the alcohol is quite noticeable after a few.

Sampled at GABF on 9/17/2010. This saison pours a light gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is hoppy, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied Saison. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are spicy, grapefruity and floral. Lively carbonation. Nice balance. A very hoppy saison, now there’s an interesting concept. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Poured a pale yellow with very large foamy head, The aroma was a mix of spice and yeast. The flavor was pretty complex with a bunch of things going on. LUckily the flavors came in layers which allowed you to enjoy it. yeasty start a bit of sweet and fruit pepper and just a hint of hops at the finish, This was a good effort. Likely my favorite from Ithaca

Cloudy yellow-orange body with a big rocky head and thick lacing. Smells of lemons, flowers and spicy hops with a nice yeast quality. Crisp, bitter and a bit funky. Peppery, grassy hops with lots of lemon driven citrus. Fruity with mildly tart yeast, biscuits and grass. Phenomenal Saison from an American brewery.

Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a big, bubbly white head that lingers quite a while. Aroma is what I expected--bananas, cloves, some light fruit and earthy notes. The taste is what surprises me though; banana and clove up front, light bitterness, and a peppery, spicy finish. Interesting.
