A dark orange appearance on this one. The aroma is loaded with citrus and pine with some lemons, grapefruit, and oranges. The flavor is bitter but with a good malt backbone. Some orange peels, lemons, grapefruit, and pine. I dont get the rye in this at all. A bittersweet finish. World class shit!

Tasted at Noogfest 4.0 (2008). This IPA pours a deep orange gold color from the growler. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is grapefruity and citrusy, with a touch of malt. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are caramel and fruity. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity. There is a hint or orange peel and some rye spiciness here as well. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Very nice IPA. Good beer to finish off the Noogfest evening. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is bitter.
