This beer originates from German immigrants, yet, has no 'skunky' german taste. At the same time, it has no overly sweet american lager taste, that is so typical of our domestic lagers. This is just good old 'steel workers' beer, bold with flavor, yet goes down smooth and strong on the flavor notes. If you are going through Pa and can get it in 'pounders', that is, 16 0z. bottles, they cant be beat.

Its a normal looking pale ale with a lot of carbonation going on. Not quite medium bodied and a little tart taste in the finish. I could finish this beer and probably have another, but I will not seek it out. It is a dissapointment to me.

Pours clear light golden with a thick and frothy eggshell head that says hello and quickly exits. Aroma is crisp and malty, typical and uninspiring. Typical flavor presents malty and weak fruity tones. Mouthfeel lacks fizz and body, but at least it is distinguishable from water. Well, it’s another rating.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma-Grain is the predominant scent, I could not detect anything else. Appearance- This beer is a clear yellow with a white head Taste- Strong flavor of corn and malt, not terrible but not world class Palate- Medium bodied with a lot of carbonatio.

From family back east after that best of the worst list came out. Pretty bad, but not the worst, macro corn and generic malty sweetness with little in the way of hops or anything else interesting. Refreshing ice cold on a hot day, but not good.

Not a beer I'd choice if there was any other choice. Nothing special unless you like the smell and taste of corn. Can't say I've ever drank another beer that made me us the term of corn.

Pours a medium golden color with a billowy white head that surprising amount of retention but eventually faded to give only a very light amount of lacing. The aroma is of corn and lighter caramel aromas are the heaviest. There is a very light metallic aroma mixed in as well. The taste is of sweet corn and a decent bready malt flavor meet the tongue. There is a little bit of caramel that works its way in toward the middle of the taste, hiding some of the corn. A bit of the corn works its way back in and the caramel, corn and malt take the taste to the end. The mouthfeel is lighter bodied with a medium level of carbonation. Drank at many a steeler football game.

This is a man's beer! Or at least a man's swill. It pours a weak pale yellow with a white head. Acidic grains make up the aroma. The flavour is stale grains and old hops. This is even bad for swill.

Has a "Big Flats-esqueness about" it, as that is the closest thing I've had to this one in a while. A basic thin, pale lager that is not very well executed. Grassy notes in aroma. Corn and adjunct in the flavor. Thin while head - highly carbonated.

It isn't that cheap, but its cheap enough that you can get a few without having to spend a lot. Corn is one of the odors you'll take in when you consume this.

Okay, it's summertime and at a barbecue a cool lager is really the best choice. This clear golden body beer accents it's carbonation. The head is foamy upon pour doesn't stay around for very long leaving a ring. It's an easy drink, crisp and refreshing.

Clear yellow gold beer with white foamy suds and lots of carbonation. Mildly sweet aroma. Sweet flavor of Halloween candy corn and a bite from the carbonation. The tiniest hop bitterness in the end. Very light body.
