A refreshing amber beer with reddish hues. Thrapple is Scots for throat and this beer with its crisp hoppy aroma (from liberal quantities of East Kent Goldings) delivers a tangy but quenching taste.

Amber, big white firm head. Aromatic grassy hops in aroma, hints of flowers and toffee. Clean refreshing hoppy flavour with a quite big malty backbone of toffee and soil. Crisp finish.

Cask conditioned at the Ipswich Beer Festival 2004. Malty caramel aroma. Cereal and delightful (? - can’t read my own handwriting) hops in the flavour. Good beer!
