Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a light haze and a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral cereal with light dry hops is mildly enjoyable. Taste is refreshing and easily quaffable with notes of cereal with light residual sweetness and some floral undertones. Body is slightly more full then average with good carbonation. Limited character but refreshing notes makes this an enjoyable session beer.

On cask at Edinburgh's Royal Oak. Especially vibrant for a real Scottish Ale. Golden yellow with a well-laced white head. Lightly-tart fruit and hints of honey. Reserved malt profile. Soft mouthfeel with a puckered finish. Really enjoyed this one, perhaps enhanced by a heartfelt rendition of "The 51st (Highland) Division's Farewell to Sicily". Memorable.

500 ml bottle, bought at Lørenskog Brus-shop. ABV is 4.1%. Golden colour, decent white head. Lovely aroma of fruity and floral hops, notes of honey. The flavour has distinct hops throughout, with grapefruity and nutty notes. Refreshing and moreish. Plenty of hoppy bitterness in the long aftertaste.

This one was a gift several years ago. I've searched unsuccessfully for it since, but it opened my eyes and my palate to what was brewing in the world beyond South Florida. I haven't stopped searching for new aleas and lagers since

Hazy golden with a low creamy white foam. Grassy and leafy hops in the aroma. Grassy hoppy flavour with touches of berries and leaves. Long bitter aftertaste of soil and wet grass.

Casked. Dark golden colour, bubbly mediumsized head. Aroma of honey, fruits and malts. Flavour is sour fruits, some weak hineyish hints. Long aftertaste for a cask.
Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is saltwater, grass and hops. Flavour is grass, hops and slight hayishness. Rather harsh and sharpedged. Slightly cooked vegetables when it warms up (both in aroma and flavour). 5 6 5 5 5 -

Bottled (thanks Viggo) Pour reveals a lightly hazed honey-gold ale with a smallish cap and light carbonation. The aroma of this ale has one of the best aromas I've experienced in an ale: fruity, pears with musty citrus and a wisp of smoke. Medium body sweet malt and the yeast-hop mix leave a lightly smoked pear cider taste...mild mellow and tasty...wet finish...a very nice mild pale scottish ale.
