The beer pours a light golden colour, translucent, with polenty of effervescence leading to a frothy snow white head. The aroma is very grainy and yeasty with some hints of herbal hops. Nothing in the aroma screams “Belgian”. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. So, while the aroma doesn’t say Belgian, the flavour is reminiscent of a light Belgian tripel. A sweet malt start, followed by light Belgian spiciness, and the definite flavour of a Belgian yeast. It’s a pretty decent beer, but it is still missing that ‘something’
