Inspired by the aroma and flavours more typically found in a cup of Earl Grey tea, the German-style Kristallweizen beer has been brewed at a warmer temperature to encourage sweeter, spicier flavours to develop. The brew has been aged over oak and then infused with dried bergamot and blood orange to create a fragrant and refreshing finish.

Pours quite a large foamy off-white head but dissipates quickly and gives way to a thin coating. Has a clear golden appearance. Fairly weak lacing. Aromas of wheats, orange peel, bready malts. Flavours are mostly of the wheat and cereal malt variety. Some sweet notes as well as citrus, blood orange and caramel. Oak hints are subtle. Somewhat of a different taste on the palate compared to majority of Innis and Gunn's other brews of the oak aged group. Smooth finish. Silky and oily mouthfeel.

Pours a clean golden colour with good carbonation and a nice creamy, off-white cap that stays quite long and gives out thick creamy lace. Fruity nose with their typical caramel base, but milder, and some nice spicy herbal hops. The vanilla oak hints do come out with time. This show more in the taste and the hops do a nice different balance. Almost minty aftertaste. Interesting.
