Clear dark amber, small off-white foam ring. Light caramel barley aroma, more outspoken barley taste. Short aftertaste, not too great beer. (Houston 201501)

Pours a amber to brown color, medium to no head and absolutely no lacing. The aroma is grainy with no discernable hop notes. Predominantly sweet malts. The taste is caramel, but only lightly so. The mouthfeel is fizzy lifting drink. Goes down fast and finishes quickly. This beer has a bit more going on than your typical mexican beach beer, but it does serve a purpose of being refreshing and it is. This is also the best beer made by this brewery.

Deep bronze body, thin, soapy head with some spotted lace. Aromas and flavors of slightly toasted malts, some nuttiness to it. Aroma and flavor are both kinda faint, non offensive, its o.k.

obama should get a teardrop tattoo .. . Pours a deep tan .. light foam .. . light light malt and dried soiled grass .. . its a madhouse .. . simple, throw out the dark malts and keep it simpler .. .
on sunday, i am going to 2 beer tastings back to back; the first at noon is a bourbon barrel barleywine theme - monday will be hell!! ...if i make it that far... -

Nice Vienna. Tasted like one as well. I think they got this one right, and it certainly does not need to bow down to the likes of a citrus fruit. Will recommend to anyone who likes Vienna's.

Good one, probably a Vienna, but those disambiguations are common among these dark lagers. It has a slightly soil flavour but not disgusting. I think it belonged to the last free brewery to be bought in Mexico before Casta.

Sampled again, pretty recently: pours a nice deep clear brown body with a full malted mouthfeel. refreshing, not a whole lot of flavor but decent and holds down a clean finish.

Dark beer with equilibrium in its taste and grain like flavour. Sweet sour sensation and grat freshness. Ideal beer to drink alone, its taste puts it aside other good mexican beers like Negra Modelo.
