Named for the beer that was shipped to Her Majesty’s Royal Army in India. This beer was brewed with large amounts of hops, which acted as a natural preservative in transit from the British Isles to India giving it the distinctive bitter taste. Modern Microbreweries now attempt to make IPAs as bitter as possible. Not us. We make the classic India Pale Ale, with an International bitterness rating of around 62. The taste is not overwhelmed with bitterness, but it allows you to enjoy the brilliant subtlety of the complex hops, aromas and flavors of four different hops used to finish our IPA. Oh yeah, we also hand-craft it at 7.2% alcohol by volume.

This is an IPA for what kind of beer drinker exactly? Because it's gotta be the person who doesn't know what an IPA should be about, or the person who's a lush and doesn't care. An overload of boiled cabbage in the aroma. Dirty penny/iron-y flavor void of any hops. Didn't seem infected at all, just a crappy beer. -

another cardboardsque offering from IW. more lively hop profile than the other 7 we tried, but really, that's not saying much. the cloudy light orange looks identical to the pale ale, smells and tastes a little old and musty with a muddled midwest hop profile.

Pours a medium tan-brown .. . low head but some there .. . aroma of summer pine and sea water.. . wow, a pretty salty beer with light muddled pine and seaweed .. sea water brew .. . spots of lacing .. . goes down the throat without a thought.. . an easy drinking brew but has no real enjoyable flavours or complexity .. . but a poundable brew at best, the abv is not detected .. . tonight will be genral tso and rice with west brom, middlesboro, and newcastle for championship dessert! 5-24-09 7:45pm

First of all i drank this a little too cold, but i adjusted my scores as such. Amnesia poured a deep copper body, not much head or lace. Very little aroma (too cold) but there were very slight hop hints and some malts. Flavor was the same, very little hops, but the malts showed a little more. Overall it is not very flavorful, and a little below average.
