Our beer featuring and paying tribute to, Sarnia native, Cdr. Chris Hadfield! An absolutely refreshing Cream Ale that features Madagascar vanilla for an insanely smooth finish. Crystal clear amber in appearance. Slightly sweet with a touch of floral hops. Our choice in the vanilla addition contributes to a creamy mouth-feel, leading to velvety after-tones and finish. Think of this as a "Cream Soda for adults”.

The beer pours a translucent pale gold colour with a white head which lasts a few minutes leaving a little lacing. The aroma is bready malts, light yeast, and floral hop notes. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is malted grains, a slight berry sweetness, and follows with a bitter finish.

Can that pours a clean, light golden colour with a creamy white cap, good retention and some nice creamy lacing. Mild grassy, spicy hop nose with a touch of diacetyl in the background, and some yeast, bubblegum. The taste shows the decent, fresh grassiness from the spicy hops in the nose, but then - some rich vanilla notes appear. Again, I get some bubblegum. Nothing too offensive, but nothing really balanced here.
