A low alcohol pale packed with flavour. Light and crisp, with subtle flora and fruit. Brewed to be a friend of food. Inspired by a recipe from 1884 found in the archives of the original brewery in Ilkley, this distinctive Victorian Pale Ale has been remastered for the modern palate using New Zealand hops. March 2014: Shared bottle, as Ilkley Dinner Ale, at hotel room tasting. ABV is 3.3%. Deep golden colour. Aroma of malts, toffee and dust. Surprisingly hoppy flavour for a beer of this low ABV, quite nice, also noticeable malts. Might sample again.
