A true German-style Hefeweizen made with malted wheat, Munich malt and 2-row barley. The yeast is a southern German-style strain producing a flavor profile that includes clove and banana notes. The beer is unfiltered and thus a bit hazy. The hop additions are all Nobel Halertauer hops that lend a slight spiciness to this delightful beer. For something different try a Hefe with a shot of Chambord for that traditional raspberry

Sampled at Humperdink's Brewpub in Arlington, TX. Poured a cloudy gold color with a nice white head. Good lacing. Strong banana and clove aroma. Flavor has a lot of banana and clove as a lot of hefes are, yet I liked this better than most.
