A very deep golden/ color with a hint of aged copper. The air is filled with sugary spices and butterscotch. Tastes very weak, with only a small amount of burnt caramel malt coming through, then the taste vanishes. An uninspiring brew here

Gold color with decent sized head. Big malt taste right up front with caramel finish that you can't ignore. 6.2% masked very nicely.

clear and golden with a lathering beauty... aroma was carmelly and sweet.. Flavor was harsh malty sweetness followed by nothingness..sweet..reminds me of snow..but I HATE SNOW.

Another good winter beer, this one being fairly hoppy but not overpowering. It is dark amber, medium-full bodied with a creamy texture to go along with a nice creamy head. The flavor starts a little bitter, rushes into a roasty malt and finishes with a lingering hoppiness. The aroma is hoppy with hints of fruit, such as apricot.

Humboldt Winter Nectar is a pretty good beer, it is similar to Sierra Nevada's winter beer. The beer is a bit hoppy, with a decent amount of maltiness. It is no where near as hoppy as Sierra Nevada. There is a slight apricot flavor to the beer. Worth trying.
