Nice burnt amber with a large head. caramel, berry, must, and straw in the nose. Quite nice malty flavors with caramel and berry coming through the most, with a decent background yeast profile, hidden alcohol, and a nice full body.

has an old fruit nose, alcoholic cherries and dried pineapple. amber body, lacey thin head. slightly rancid fruit flavors, cherry comes to mind...just doesnt taste fresh..could be the wierdo yeast flavors though clashing...I cant tell whether i can drink it or not.

A dark apple juice in color with a thin lathering top..the aroma was a hoppy, musty, applyish, sugary, malty mess..the flavor had tangy hops and was citrusy with a thin malt backing..some lemon rind came through too..the mouthfeel was spritsy & citrusy and not sticky at all..it was semi-full bodied with the malt thickening as it warmed..seems similiar to anchor liberty yet not as zesty..

I've fell victim to one of the classic blunders, the most famous of which is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well know is this: never get involved with a super dark and evil ruby colored barley wine with a sweet fruity aroma, whose flavor is hoppy, fruity, creamy, and extremely smooth with hints of plump and juicy Pomegranate seeds..when death is on the line... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha (kerplunk!)

wet milky notes get soaked up into the roasted barley atmosphere turning the air almost whiskey-like, in an irish way..this dark creature had a secret, a brilliant ruby undertone selectably visible to the brightest of youths...the tan head had a chocolate milk-like appearance, was thin in the middle, but wasn't afraid to climb the glass...campfire smoke on coffee grains leads to sweet chocolate flavors...slight iron aftertaste, and a thin yet not quite watery palate leave questions as to where the alcohol is...Yes indeed it is the unthick; but flavors are still abound, and for what its worth, i like it.
