Description A strong India Pale Ale brewed with 100% barley, six varieties of hops, water and yeast. Extra barley balances the variety of hops in this brew. This is definitely for the hop lover. This beer is brewed in limited quantities as part of the John Mitchells series. Food Pairing As it's highly hopped, this beer goes well with spicy cuisine such as curry and Mexican favorites. It is also good with foods such as fish & chips or hot wings. Our Bottle This re-closable bottle, known as a “pot-stopper”, was widely used in Europe and North America prior to the 1950s. Our new combination cap is an innovative design that allows closure by both crown and swing caps. It can be re-used and meets our green packaging objectives.

Copper colour pour with a huge head which has good retention. Aroma was caramel malt and pine. Very hoppy flavour. Pine dominates accompanied with grapefruit, pineapple and floral flavours. It also has a little malt sweetness. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Not bad but very straight forward for a DIPA. Could do with it being in a smaller bottle.

Looks like a nice pint, deep amber creamy off white crown floating on top. Aroma is hidden... pint might have poured to cold. Sweet fuzzy peach candy is about all I get out of the nose....... so very mild. Flavour has a large sweetness to it, peach but not, melon but not, not honey, almost bubble gum. Lively carbonation. Very well balanced..... almost to balanced I WANT MORE HOPS DAMMIT. Drinks like a APA not a IIPA. Dusty dry finish. Whats holding this beer back. Completly drinkable boring IIPA.

Very copper and ruby colored pour. White head with medium and large sized bubbles. Lacing is decent and retention is great. Very reisonous and a bit tannic both sweet and bitter hop notes. Makes my tounge thick and prickly over the 1l. A decent bit overly heavy impy ipa for me. enjoy the spruce and pine and humidity. Just too heavy. Good beer and worth the try

From Firefly. Comes in Howe Sound's always delightful one litre swing-top bottle. Poured an attractive, clear body of rich copper under an ivory head. Nice lacing was the result. Aroma was well hopped, with pine notes and likewise the flavour. Solid mouthfeel, and LOTS of sediment towards the end of the bottle. Nice enough, but not really $3 a bottle better than their "regular" Devi's Elbow IPA, I think.
