Pours a copper color with almost no carbonation. Aroma of jalapeño is very strong, with a backing of saison yeastiness, if that’s a word. The lack of carbonation is a real turn off. There is some heat from the pepper, but much less than I was expecting. Slightly sweet to start with a drier finish. I picked up a mixed six pack at a beer store and mentioned to the owner that one of my six (not this one) was the only pepper beer I ever liked. He told me to try this one. My statement to him still holds true. Maybe it helped clean my drain?
