Bottle. Poured a clear reddish copper colored beer with a one finger beige foamy head that had a short retention. Great lacing. The aroma is smoked malts and caramel. The flavour is smoked malts, smoked ham, smoked eel (!), hay. The palate is crispy and mellow. This medium bodied beer has a lingering bitter and smoky finish. A very nice Rauchbier.
