This pours a transparent light gold colour with a generous white frothy head and lots of carbonation. The aroma is very grassy with hints of hops and yeast. The flavour is very grainy and devoid of hops. Quite a disappointment.

This is one raunchy beer. An overpowering grainy aroma gives way to a skunky grainy taste that is not at all appealing. Even the pale yellow colour falls short of the Gold standard as displayed on the can.

Im going to go against the grain and say I liked this one. Nice golden apperance with a wee bit of lacing. Very sweet on the attack but a nice finish with a nice flavour without being overly heavy. Would be a great summer bear.

We are a long way from the delicious dark they make...Clearly this one is just average blonde ale, miss some fruitness and a bit too bitter in a bad way...Nonetheless there is some crispness and can refresh if you're thirsty...Go buy their dark one before this one...

Clean gold colour, moderate frothy head that decided to run away quickly. Nose is slightly malty and corny, and the taste isn't much better. Thin bodied. Not much of a beer.

After enjoying their dark ale, I was surprised to see this one in a can at the LCBO. Pours a golden-yellow colour with a small white head, with decent lace. There is a very slight cloudiness to it. Lightly carbonated and aromas of grain malts and a little grass. Watery mouthfeel that is a bit sticky. Mild taste of malt (sweet and grainy) throughout with a light bitter finish and corn showing up in the aftertaste. Not as good as their dark for sure, nor intented to be. Always nice to try a different product from a good Ontario micro.

Can: Poured a light yellow color ale with a medium bubbly white head with OK retention. Aroma of corn and adjunct is quite intense and not expected. Taste also remind me of adjunct and macro beers. Body I light as expected and carbonation is well. I was expecting something way getter then this after having tried and enjoyed their dark ale.

This beer is one of those one's the more you drink the more you grow to despise it. Whereupon I opened the first can, all I could smell was malt and grain. Very overpowering. Like walking into a grainery or a silo. It's not offensive, but it really isn't all that pleasant either. And the taste, like pourning water into a silo and drinkiing that. Really not worth the $11.50/6 that I paid for it. This beer will be in the discontinued aisle soon. Avoid.

Bought a 6 pack of this unpasturized golden ale canned freshly the day previous. Poured a clear gold with very nice frothy cap that lasts...sticky lace on the glass....moderate carbonation. Very musty sweet nose...apples and burlap...starts light but becomes more sweet malt pronounced and smooth, hops sit in the back....finish is wet and bready with some hop tang...a decent enough draft golden ale..possibly on the sweet side for some but better put together than most.
