Pours clear topaz with a frothy eggshell head. Aroma features woody hops and orange, not spectacular but promising. Flavor ramps up the hops and orange promised by the aroma, succeeds at being hoppy but minimally bitter, and introduces a touch of fruity sweetness. Mouthfeel presents so-so body and perky fizz. Orange you glad you tried this?

Not much going on here. Still good beer, just nothing really stands out and seems sort of weak and bland for an IPA. The 5% and 35 IBU is probably the reason why, but I’ve had session IPAs with a lot bolder flavor. Some mild orange flavor in there and has a decent balance. The single was enough for me though and sort of glad I passed on the 6-pack.
