Sampled on 8/20/2011 at Beer Revolution. This fruit beer pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, cherry, bretty with some wood and some chocolate. This fruit beer pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, cherry, bretty, chocolate and a touch of wood. A medium bodied fruit beer. The malts are fruity and sweet, some cherry. A little funk, a little wood and some chocolate. The hops are herbal and earthy. Lively carbonation. Some tartness and some funk. Touch of wood and some brett. Kind of a new born sour. I would really like to try this one again with about 6 more months aging. Nice fruitiness with a dry finish. Easy drinking beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
