    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8

500 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Frauendorfer Seidla a clear and red copper-amber coloured RB with a two fingers almost white, dense and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is moderate wheat-rauch-malts, vegetables, green olives and a barnyard touch. The flavour is caramel malts, well marked wheat-rauch malts and citrussy hops. The mouthfeel is crispy, creamy, prickly and light sweety. The texture is watery. This medium bodied RB has a very long soft Rauch-smokey finish. Not in the powerful Rauchway as its world famous sister from Bamberg but in a softer way and it is a success for this Frauendorfer Rauchbier brewed in the Hetzel brewery, opened to the public, ... one day in the week.
