More hefe like than the whaetopia which is odd, with a little extra dryness and spice. This would be their best brew of not for the massive over carbonation that kills the feel and effects the flavor as well.

Sampled on 6/1/2011. This saison pours a hazy orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head with nice lacing and good retention. The aroma is fruity and spicy, banana and clove, with some sweetness and some pepper. A medium bodied saison. The malts are fruity and sweet, spicy and peppery. The hops are spicy and floral. Lively carbonation. Nice balance. Some banana and clove sweetness, but a whole lot of spiciness and pepper to cancel the sweetness out. This saison would work much better with food than as a stand only beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly spicy
