The first India Pale Ale may have gotten its start in Great Britain but Henry Weinhard’s India Pale Ale is pure Pacific Northwest. Its full-hop flavor comes from the perfect blend of homegrown, Pacific Northwest hops and two-row barley. The brilliant, earthy copper color, hint of caramel sweetness and inviting aroma of pine, citrus and flowers make Henry’s India Pale Ale a refreshingly true taste of the Pacific Northwest.

Millers has decided that this might be a good entry level IPA. Personally I have had bigger IPLs, and Pales. This is not a good IPA at all. Weak all the way around. Save your money.

More pine and caramel than citrus. Is this English or west coast? Hard to tell. Not much depth to speak of and not enough to distinguish this from most pale ales, let alone iPas. Pass...

A bright orange colored beer with a big frothy textured white head rising above. There's some retention. Thick ringlet and light film are what is left. Light malty nose. Lighweight in tasting. More malt sweetness than hops. Drinkable.

Appearance is a golden-copper color, light head, pretty clear. Thin white cap with minimal lacing.Aromas of pine, and a bit of sweet malt. Rather mild for the style. There is not much flavor some hints of pine and citrus, with just a touch of pale malt. Overall its not bad, its just a bit boring.
