http://www.shmaltzbrewing.com/HEBREW/wishbone.html Wishbone pours a clear, bright gold with a fluffy white head and light, sticky lacing throughout the glass. Wishbone’s nose boasts tropical citrus notes of pineapple, lychee and brilliant pear accented by a light pine resin. Wishbone offers a medium mouthfeel with big, sweet hops balanced by a bready finish offered by mostly pale malt with a touch of Brewer’s Oats, Maris Otter and Victory to add just enough backbone to support the intense hop quantities. With an aroma and taste more sessionable than it’s 8% ABV body lets on, Wishbone: This Bone’s For You!

Pours clear golden amber with a fairly thick and frothy pale buff head. Strong note of resiny hops shares the aroma spotlight (as it were) with citrus that blends grapefruit and Mandarin orange. Hops and citrus are again the main players in the flavor; a little evergreen and a little malt come forth. Body and fizz are above average. No need for a wishbone, grab a bottle.

Received in the He'Brew Hop/IPA Mixpack. A little confused by the "Session Double IPA" label. Pretty much a strong IPA, not quite a double. Flavor is there for sure. Heavier malt content, while retaining 90 IBUs of huge bitterness. Lots of grapefruit and citrus in there too. Clean and refreshing medium density feel. Cloudy darker orange appearance. This is one I will look for in the future.

A bright amber colored beer with a big frothy textured, off white head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. A thick low lying film and moderate ringlet are left. The hops are up front in total profile. Tropical and citric hoppiness. Very sessionable. Full bodied and refreshing.
