04.29.05 750ml bottle from last May or June. Very serious gusher; I had to pour the entire bottle at once into a few glasses. So clouded is this golden brew (I remember it being much more clear many months ago), it looks like a weisse beer beneath its sizeable head. Clearly infected, funky and sour nose, but it’s not at all become off-putting. Lots of Belgian yeasty notes come through, tropical fruits, barn, leather, lemon juice. Body is light, effy; nice citrus bite with even more melon and more mixed fruits. Very dry to finish. Mineral undertones throughout. This beer seems to have improved after almost a year in the bottle. I’ve got one more bottle that I may sock away for another year, just to see...

Tap at Andy’s. Cloudy yellow in color with a white head. Orange peel and candi sugar aroma. Good beer. Light in body. Lots of malt. Clean finish. Enjoyable.

Cloudy copper, golden color with almost no head. Aroma of a light melon. Tastes like the bottom of a cantelope bowl with a bit of dough.

Poured a hazy golden color with a medium sized white head and nice lacing on the glass. Funky, dry, brett and citrus aroma... very Orval-esque. Taste was sweet malt, light citrus (orange, lemon), brett and a light hoppiness. Comparable to the McKenzie Trappist Pale Ale.
