again surprised at the low marks...great for the style...decent overall. very smooth, crisp, nose and taste of sweet flaked corn, creamy body and aftertaste. quite quaffable.

By style actually my favorite out of the Draught Sampler. Darker golden color topped with a rocky white head that left nice lace. Aroma was sweet malts and corn. Mouthfeel was medium bodied, crisp and clean. Flavor was sweet malts with a bitter finish, could be a good session lager.

One of 8 ea 5 oz samples in the $12.95 "Seasonal Voyage" sampler. Very pale and clear in color. The midwestern malts and flaked sweetcorn evident in the aroma also combine to make a crisp tasting, light bodied and palatte-cleansing lager with a remarkably clean, long finish. Nice and refreshing as an apertif.

very basic. watery and thin. no head to speak of. lots of malt?, not much corn flavors, (but thats ok with me) and hoppy flavor and aroma.

Pale orange in color witha clear medium white head. Big malty aroma , with a good, though not good big swill flavor. Gets very dry after a while

Tap at the Chophouse... Poured a golden color with a small creamy white head that left a little lacing. Corn and light hop aroma. Malty adjuncts, sweet finish. If you decide to hit Heartland while in NYC, just go with the Oatmeal Stout.
