'The Hammer', my take on a classic German style Hefeweizen (that's 'hay-fah-vite-zen'). At a whopping 11 IBUs contributed from the single 1st-wort dose of Sorachi Ace hops and 5.5% ABV it may not be quite what some of you have come to expect from the H&T beers but it is tasty none-the-less. Excellent forward notes of marshmallow banana candy, citrus and cloves with well-rounded breadiness and a tart, acidic finish. Gravity – 13.1P/1.053 IBU's - 11 Hop Rate – 0.09 lbs/bbl ABV - 5.5 % Hops - Sorachi Ace Colour – 5.0 SRM Malts - Wheat, Pale Ale, Melanoidin
