'Blackhook Prime' - smoked Baltic Porter. I kept this one fairly light, clocking in at a mere 6.7% ABV it's just a wee example of the style. Heck some may even call this a lawnmower beer, others might call it a session beer, it's great for those hot summer days on our waterfront patio. On a more serious note; Blackhook is a prime example of a malt-bomb from days gone past. A reincarnation of the highly sought after beer that was once served on this very same premise, brewed in this very same brewhouse by the same brewer. Blackhook lives. It's black, it's malty and smokey, it's rich and satisfying but most importantly it's delicious.
