It took a while for us to come up with a UFO beer that could withstand the darkest days of the year, but the warmth of ginger combined with the seasonal spice of cinnamon and clove form a perfect companion for a visit to Gingerland. Brewed, not Baked. Poured, not sliced. Inspired by a classic tale. Deliciously spiced. Welcome to Gingerland. Description Cinnamon, clove and ginger combine with an unfiltered wheat beer in this deliciously spiced, gingerbread-inspired beer. Tasting Notes Appearance: slightly hazy, deep orange Aroma: ginger snap Mouth feel: medium bodied and rounded Taste: malty sweetness from the blend of cinnamon and Munich malt Finish: sweet with a clean crisp finish of ginger

Not really a fan of ginger-spice beers, but this was on clearance for $1 so figured I'd give it a try. The cinnamon-clove isn't too overwhelming, but you can taste it for sure. A little more and it would kind of ruin this beer for me, yet I found it drinkable. Has an unfiltered light brown appearance. Base flavor is a wheat beer....with winter spice added of course. I prefer this flavor profile more in heavier darker winter warmer style brew.

Sn otange colored beer with a big sudsy textured, whute head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. It settles into a thin ringlet. This beer is all about ginger in a wheat base. And there's nothing offensive in the flavors of this light bodied beer.
