Half imperial stout, half pumpkin ale, with aromas of dried fruit chocolate, and freshly baked pumpkin pie. Enjoy this black, full bodied stout now or save it for chilly fall evening. An amalgamation of dark brown sugar, blackstrap molasses, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, cole, and of course fresh pumpkin, this is one big flavoral spiced stout.

Pours a deep sable just a bedbug’s eyebrow above inky black, with a fairly thick though not persistent tan head. Strong, smoky aroma has an overtone of pumpkin and cinnamon, plus hints of caramel, nutmeg and other spices plus a snip of molasses. Flavor really is like a stout mixed with pumpkin pie: roast malt, molasses, pumpkin, spices, hints of licorice and coffee. An excellent way to welcome fall - maybe I should have saved this one for the autumnal equinox. Heck, anytime is a good time for a good beer. Texture is fairly thick, though fizz is lacking. Pump one imperially! ;)
