This wheat-based beer is easy drinking and sessionable with a crisp, slightly bitter yet refreshing finish. Most grain used in brewing is rarely sourced from the Southeast region of the United States. This grisette features southern-grown wheat and barley malted by Riverbend malthouse in Asheville, NC. By supporting local farmers and local malthouses, we are establishing a local beer economy, giving our beer a truer sense of place. Each grisette batch highlights an influential woman in history. Magdalene pays tribute to Thistle Farms Magdalene Residential Program, who we partnered with for the 2018 Light the Nations event
