A solid, yet undistinctive IPA. Some caramel, slightly bready, medium-bodied. Crisp golden orange color. This is a good IPA, one that I could drink all night, mainly because it is not very hoppy or bitter. It is far from outstanding, so I do not see what the hype is about. They must make great beers somewhere else in their line up.

Sampled on 6/18/2011. This India Pale Ale pours a medium orange copper color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity and sweet, citrusy, herbal and slightly spicy. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet, caramel and bready. The hops are herbal, grapefruity and citrusy. Some orange. Good carbonation. Nice balanced between the hops and malts. Good showcase for the Columbus hop. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
