Clear dark ruby with small light brown foam ring. Aroma is caramel dominated, so is taste. Quite sweet. Nothing special I could taste in this beer. (Velp 201310)

Dark rubyish brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is caramel, nuts, chocolate and slight coffee. Flavour is sweet caramellish malts along with nuts and alcohol.

Sampled in Denmark. Aroma of oak and brown sugar, improves as the beer warms up. Rich sweet flavour (a bit too sweet?), quite alcoholic but still nice. Hancock obviously have put some real effort into this beer.

clear dark brown colour, no foam, strong malty nose with plum, licorice and alcohol, sweet and full-bodied with a touch of bitterness, the finish is long and sugary, showing warming alcohol and more plumy notes - very good though a bit too much on the sweet side

Poured a copper color with a small white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of tart cherry, light wheat, sweet malts and rose petals. Taste was herbal, spicy, hoppiness, more sweet caramel, and pronounced alcohol for sure.
