This collaborative series between Hailstorm Brewing and Transient Artisan Ales, was formed in the spirit of camaraderie and experimentation. Each batch was split between two identical open-top oak fermenters, then aged in oak puncheons, where each brewer experimented with their own blend of yeasts/bacteria. Brewed at Hailstorm Brewing.

Pours a pale yellow color with a foamy white head that quickly dissipates. Aromas of brett funk, sour fruit (mainly apples) with notes of hops and wood overtones. Tastes as it smells, with the brett leading the way, followed by tart sour apples, red wine and some oak on the finish. Very refreshing on a warm spring day. A bit outside of usual beer choices, but well worth stepping outside for. Glad I picked up a couple of bottles. Tasty.
