This beer, like its namesake, the Russian Special Forces, “Spetsnaz” is dark and mysterious. Black hue and thick headed standing tall in the glass. The nose is robust with roast, chocolate and coffee, rich body, healthy with the flavors of espresso and dark chocolate finishing smooth. 2010 World Beer Cup Bronze medalist!

Great sweet stout provided by heybeerman, and recently shared at a tasting. Well rounded profile of milk chocolate, mild coffee, toast and nuts. Opaque brown body with an inch thick bubbly head and strands of lacing. Medium bodied and smooth. Would make for a great everyday stout.

Deffinitely one of the best on tap. Deep rich dark brown color and a super smooth ad creamy mouthfeel. Lots of coffee and toffee and cream in both aroma and flavor. Great balance throughout and well worth the trip to be able to bring some back.

Picked this beer up at WHole Foods in Madison, WI. Apparently they are starting to distribute which is great. Pours a black color with a nice tan head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Flavor is somewhat sweet and smooth. Good beer!

Pours a dark opaque black colour with a large creamy brown head. Burned toast, coffee grounds and dark chocolate flavors. Aroma is sweet, yet strong of chocolatey malts and roasted nuts. Nice brew!
