Bottled (from Alko, Vaasa). Deep ruby colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, riped fruits, a bit anis and quite spicy. Flavour is sweet malts, riped fruits, some spicy notes as well as some mild zesty and sugary notes. Mild bitterness and toffee in the finish.

Really lovely pour. Rich reddish brown with lots of head that sticks around, but little lacing. Pleasant aroma with the faintest hint of spice and hops. I swear you can smell the ice.. psychological I know.. the ice they used was a mere 80,000 years old. That's novel. It's a good sweetish solid beer, very fresh tasting..Not much pollution inside an ice cap I suppose. Just enough hop to give it some bite, but mostly finishes very smooth and drinkable. It's too expensive, comparatively, so I won't seek it out often, but will keep some on hand for wayward visitors who would like the novelty of it.
