Looks like a beer, I’m feeling lazy tonight so that’s all the effort I’m throwing into the way this beer looks. Aroma is ok with sweet honey, metallic hops, something like funky foot sweat but not. Sweet honey malt flavor with a surprising amount of bitter hops. The brew sure isn’t lacking in flavor it fairly bold. I hit lemon zest on some sips but not too often. Brew gets very bready when warm, flavor was better while cooler that’s for sure. This beer is good, very drinkable.

Drinking this beer made me grumpy. Dark gold in colour, very little haze, and a white head. Almost a witbier-like appearance. The aroma was wheaty and some sourness. The flavour was acidic, some wheat tones, and a bad finish. Not enjoyable.,

Reviwed on tap. Bottle sucked! This stuff looked like dark apple juice with its medium gold apperance and had a small white cap. Wheat and honey is what you get on smell and it's quite sweet. I was suprised how much I liked the aroma considering the sweetness. Nice wheat taste, some malts that were on the slighty roasted side and interesting spicy honey (probally the hops). Light to medium bodied, fairly dry with a decent bitter aftertaste. Tasty beer!

Industry standard brown 341 ml screw top bottle. Have tasted this previously as Grizzly Paw is quite active at Calgary tastings and beerfests. Their distribution is growing and have more beers being available in bottles and cans. $10.99 CAN for 6 pack bottles. Pours a slightly cloudy light golden color. Minimal head of white foam. Can really smell the honey sweetness with some floral hoppiness. Also can taste the honey flavor mixed with grainy, wheaty flavor. Slick mouthfeel coats your tongue with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Good taste, goes down easy, rates higher just because I would rather have this small local brew than other big brewery honey beers. I bet it is even better on tap in Canmore - must make a drive out soon.
